Goodbye 3650!

Goodbye 3650!

He died last Sunday. All cellphone repair shops said that he is beyond any technology cure.

I love this phone. He lived for almost 5 years, survived 4 sim changes and saw a lot of changes in my life. He heard my top most secret and read all my text exchange with my friends. He was with me anywhere I go.

I am still having a hard time accepting the fact that I will have to start a new relationship with a new phone. And I got really sad by his sudden demise.

Goodbye to you, my beloved 3650. I'm gonna miss you badly.

Happy Sad Happy Sad

Happy Sad Happy Sad

Mama Grace gave me a shirt from her trip to Bangkok with 'Happy Sad' written all over the neck line of the shirt. She said it instantly reminded her of me that's why she bought it for me. I loved it.

Anyway, I fully understand why it reminded her of me. Few years back, a mentor told me that I have a wide range of emotions. He said that it was a gift.

I do not know if I can consider it a gift. I hate it when I feel extremely happy one moment and then in a blink of an eye, I will hit rock bottom.

These past few weeks, I have been trying to resist being sad. Sunday dawn, I was about to hit rock bottom when I was on my way home from Malate. I slept through it. When I woke up, I was starting to feel perky.

I went online and surf through my Friendster, I started to answer one of those surveys. When I get to one of the questions, I stopped answering and closed the computer immediately to avoid getting depressed. Why? I did not know what the answer to How do you see yourself 5 years from now, career wise?

I actually do not know the answer. I am not the type of person who wants to have long term plans. And yesterday, it scared the shit out of me. I do not know what I will be doing five years from now.

Right now, I have a GMA contract up until May 2008. I have sideline events til March. Other than that, I have no solid plans on the coming years.

Now I am starting to get scared of what is really in store for me.

Randomly Rants

Randomly Rants

I woke up today with colds and I am in for a long day. We have a set-up at Antipolo for our event tomorrow.

Something so beautiful for me went kaput even before it started. I think the three-word thing destroyed it all. What can I do? He caught me off guard and I have my reasons. Well, some good things are really not meant to go on forever.

Last night, somebody from my Multiply network texted me that her problems are beginning to take its toll on her. And to quote her, she said that she wants to 'kill herself for being herself.' I hope you get across my blog sweetie, let me tell you this: I have been through my my own share of shit, but I struggled my way to get out of it. Why? Because I have realized that life is full of choices. You can eithe be happy or be sad. But when you kill yourself, all chances fade. When you kill yourself, you have no choice because, well, you are dead. In life, when you make mistakes, you can always correct it. There are no wrongs that you cannot make right again. But when you slash your wrist or hang yourself, there are no turning back. You are not your own God so you cannot give back your life. I hope you read this and realize the things you were saying last night is just unimaginable.

I think Anthony Taberna is one smart pants commentator.

We, Letran College's Knights, lost to San Beda Lions yesterday at the NCAA. I missed watching NCAA and screaming my lungs out. My fave shouts are "Uwi na kayo!" and "Beda tulo laway" Hopefully, I wil be able to yell them next week. I promised my batchmates who watched the game yesterday that I will join them in Game 2 which is set on September 26, next Wednesday.

Anyway, it is still 7:06 in the morning and my day has yet to begin. I am at work nursing colds and an almost broken heart. Bring it on.

And The Sourgraping Comes..

And The Sourgraping Comes...

As one of Estrada lawyers says, "Why am I not suprised?"

Why am I not suprised that there's a lot of sourgraping after Estrada's verdict?

I can still hear the president laughing and saying, " Ang shaya shaya, noh?"

Guilty!

Guilty!

Former President Joseph Estrada is guilty of the plunder charges against him. He is now facing reclusion perpetua or 40 years in prison and is Tanay bound once again

Shocked? For me, I was not. How about you?

You think he deserves the verdict?

Guilty Or Not?

Guilty Or Not?

As a normal person, I am guilty of many things.

I am guilty of staying up late at night, staying tucked in bed until noon, eating too much chocolates, going home early from work, lying to have my way or to get out of things, being mean, faking what I think must be faked, watching too much porn, being lazy all the time, not giving enough but receiving too much, buying too much stuff, munching a lot of junk foods, drinking alcohol like there is no tomorrow, partying til dawn, surfing the net too much, blogging everyday and not writing enough in my private notebook, and listening to my ipod at least half of my day.

I am sure the former president is also guilty of some of the things enumerated above. But the real question is if he is guilty of the four things that he is being accused of.

Stay tuned.

----------

Are you also guilty of not trusting this country's politicians? Well, I am. Well how can I trust them? Some of the people supporting Erap right now are the same persons who walked out of the senate after Erap's then-allies voted not to open the second envelope. They are the people who initiated Edsa II which replaced Erap with then-VP Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Talk about plastics.

---------

One of Erap supporters said: "Kung guilty ang hatol, hindi kami manggugulo. Susunod kami sa batas!"

Well, we have to put on that test if Erap is found guilty. They should keep their words sweet, in case they have to eat them after a guilty verdict.

What Is Your Erap Verdict?

What Is Your Erap Verdict?

Sandigan Bayan is set to reveal deposed president Joseph Estrada's verdict on his plunder case on Wednesday, September 12.

Of course, every opinionated being is divided on what they think must be the verdict. Some say that Erap should be vindicated while others have no doubt that Erap will be guilty.

Erap said that he did nothing wrong. If he is innocent, why did his allies didn't want the second envelope to be open? The crying scene of Senator Loren Legarda and the dancing performance of then senator Tessie Oreta placed a final nail on the coffin of Erap's presidency. FYI, Legarda is now on Estrada's team while Oreta joined the administration wagon on the previous elections (oh well, POLITICS!).

If Erap is vindicated, then he should be back to Malacanang, right? God forbid! What made this situation more complicated is that the presidency of PGMA -- the president who took over his place --is still in question especially now that the senate has re-opened the Hello Garci investigation. This means that if he will be found innocent and PGMA is guilty of election cheating, he is still our legal president. (It took me a loooong time and effort to type those words)

If he is guilty, all hells will break loose. Pro Erap groups will definitely launch massive protest rallies everywhere.

What is my Erap verdict? As the cliché goes, no one is above the law and I think he will be found guilty. IMO, every politicians is guilty of corruption. It is just a matter of how they hide and get away with it. That being said, Erap should take lessons from PGMA.

How about you, what's your Erap verdict?

Daymaker

Daymaker

I just went online on Yahoo Messenger when some one called through it. I answered it even though I have no mic.

And his first words made my day:

"I just called to say how much I miss you."

It brought a genuine smile out of my lips. If only we can bridge across the distance. And finally, I heard him say 'nyeee' again.

Wordless

Wordless

Yesterday, a frequent visitor of my blog sent me a private message through YM. He asked me why I haven't written a new material for my blog. It got me thinking.

Two days ago I just posted an entry announcing the start of season 4 of the Desperate Housewives. Lately, I have been posting mostly on my audio and video section.

So why my blog remains empty for the past week remains unknown to me. Maybe I am a worldess warrior right now. Or being sleep deprived is killing the rest of my brain cells.

Desperate Housewives Season 4

Desperate Housewives Season 4

They are back!! Season 4 starts at September 30. I wonder when it will start here in the Philippines.

I wonder what will happen to Edie Britt. Obviously she did not die.

Can't wait!
